Why it exists
Most software is built to extract something from you: your attention, your data, your money, usually all three. XUsAll is the opposite bet. Free tools that are simply useful and accessible to everyone, built for people instead of profit.
Principles
- People over profits. You are not the product. The point is to help people, not extract from them, so everything is free or low cost.
- Private and transparent by default. Your information stays yours, and how the apps are built and how data is handled stays open.
- Built with AI, openly. Every product is made by one person working with AI tools, and the full workflow is published in plain language.
- Simple, because we trust your intelligence. Nothing over-explained and nothing built to hold your attention.
- Democratic where it counts. The people who use a service every day should have a say in how it works.
The design system
- One canvas, one typeface, one spectrum. Dark only, with true black as the canvas and a single sans-serif family. The six-color spectrum appears sparingly, so when color shows up it means something.
- X is a variable. The open slot in the name stands first for connect, but it can mean empower, teach, inform, or protect. The spectrum is the visual form of that idea.
- Products inherit it. Each app takes one or two spectrum colors for its X and a keyword, drawn from the palette and never invented per product.
- Default to doing less. If a decision is not in the design system, the rule is to leave it out.

My role
Solo. I set the mission, the brand, and the design system, and every product in the family follows from them. I build with AI tools and say so on the site. Next.js, static, with no database. Live at xusall.com.
